Connecting Zoho Mail lets Replyless sync your inbox in real time, display your messages in the Replyless UI, and use AI to draft and send replies from your Zoho Mail address. Both free Zoho Mail accounts and paid plans — including Zoho One — are supported.

Connect a Zoho Mail account

1

Open account settings

In Replyless, click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Settings, then go to Connected accounts.
2

Add a Zoho Mail account

Click Connect account and choose Zoho Mail from the list of providers.
3

Sign in with Zoho

A Zoho sign-in window opens. Enter the email address and password for the Zoho Mail account you want to connect. If your account uses two-factor authentication, complete that step as well.
4

Review and grant permissions

Zoho shows a consent screen listing the permissions Replyless is requesting. Review them and click Accept.
5

Confirm the connection

You are redirected back to Replyless. Your Zoho Mail account appears under Connected accounts with a green status indicator. Replyless begins syncing your inbox immediately.

Permissions Replyless requests

When you connect Zoho Mail, Replyless requests the following Zoho OAuth scopes:
PermissionWhy it’s needed
ZohoMail.messages.READReads and syncs messages from your inbox to the Replyless UI.
ZohoMail.messages.CREATESends AI-drafted replies from your Zoho Mail address.
ZohoMail.messages.UPDATEMarks messages as read or updates their status after you act on them.
Replyless does not request access to Zoho CRM, Zoho Calendar, Zoho Drive, or any other Zoho service.

Connect multiple Zoho Mail accounts

You can connect more than one Zoho Mail address to a single Replyless account. Repeat the connection steps above for each address. Each account appears as a separate inbox in the Replyless sidebar, and you can switch between them or use a unified inbox view.

Plan and account considerations

Replyless works with all Zoho Mail tiers, including the free plan, Mail Lite, Mail Premium, and Zoho One. However, free Zoho Mail accounts are limited to 5 GB of storage and do not include custom domain email — those restrictions come from Zoho, not Replyless. If you are on a Zoho One subscription, you can connect your Zoho Mail address the same way as any other Zoho account.
If your organization uses Zoho Mail with a custom domain (for example, you@yourcompany.com hosted on Zoho), enter that address at the Zoho sign-in screen. Replyless treats it the same as any other Zoho Mail account.

Disconnect a Zoho Mail account

1

Go to Connected accounts

In Replyless, open Settings and select Connected accounts.
2

Remove the account

Find the Zoho Mail address you want to remove and click Disconnect. Confirm when prompted.
3

Revoke access in Zoho (optional)

To fully remove Replyless from your Zoho account, visit accounts.zoho.com/apiauthtoken/revokeauthtoken or go to Zoho Accounts → Connected Apps, find Replyless, and revoke its access.
Disconnecting stops all syncing for that address. Messages already loaded in Replyless are removed from the UI within a few minutes.

Troubleshooting

Initial sync can take up to five minutes for large inboxes. If messages still don’t appear, go to Settings → Connected accounts, disconnect the account, and reconnect it.
Zoho OAuth tokens expire if your account has been inactive or if you changed your Zoho password. Open Settings → Connected accounts and click Reconnect next to the affected address.
No. Zoho One uses the same OAuth flow as standalone Zoho Mail. Sign in with your Zoho One credentials during the connection process. If your organization enforces SAML-based single sign-on (SSO), you may be redirected to your identity provider during sign-in — complete that flow and you will return to the Replyless consent screen automatically.
This can happen if your Zoho organization’s admin has restricted OAuth scope access for third-party apps. Contact your Zoho Mail admin and ask them to allow the ZohoMail scopes for Replyless in the Zoho Admin Console under Security → OAuth Scopes.
